Just as the title says. will a stock trans and diffs hold up to a .26. I'm toying with the idea of building my own tmaxx.

I just tore down everything in my drive line except diffs on my 2.5 maxx with the Red Dot installed after break-in. Everything seemed to still be great. Took the tranny apart and there were no signs of wear. Center drives looked good. No twisting at the pins. I bought a set of CVD's off of ebay for cheap. However, they didn't come with outdrives. Thinking they were MIP's, I ordered a set only to tear down and try to install to no avail. They're actually THS Racing. Unfortunately, THS doesn't sell the outdrives seperately. I also need a brake adapter hub. Pretty sure the Integy or RD one will fit.

We'll see how long everything holds up under the RIDICULOUS torque and power of the Picco.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm thinking I build one a lot cheaper then replacing parts on the one I have.

Maybe look for a cheap roller on fleabay with the parts you need. And remember, the slipper clutch is your friend. Adjust it right, and it will take some stress outta the drivetrain, and improve performance.

Drive it until it breaks, then replace. I know it sounds stupid but,,, think about it. Why replace something until it breaks. The second you take it off your truck it's almost worth nothing. So just use it.
