I'm wondering if these heads fit are the same? anyone have both care to fit it and let me know.
thanks

probibly not due to the fact that they have different bore sizes. the button inside the head of the K46 should be bigger than button inside the head of a ns25. even if the 25 head did fit the 46 the shape of the combustion chamber would be all wrong and cause poor running anyway. as a replacement for the K46 head you might have better luck looking at the novarossi line of .28's to see if the head bolt pattern is the same. I've heard from different sources numerous times that novarossi builds a lot if not all the HPI motors.

okay cool some. jerk outbid my by a $1 on a nova racing head for the k46 and nova has some s-25 heads. i'll just wait till some more are up.

thanks corrado.

i wanna run o'donnelss here were i live in the desert and i need a cooler operating head. this factory one was running 300 degree temps, but it was the best it's ever ran. I'm gonna run byrons 16% oil till i get this head i want.

instead of byrons, see how it runs with trinity platinum or odonnel race blend. a lower oil content will bring your temps down. also use 30%, that will help too. you may find you dont need a different cooling head. so far I've never felt the need for one, and while i dont live in the desert, we do sometimes get temps around 95-100+ with 80-90% humidity. i would also recommend an odonnel head over a nova race head. novas tend to make an engine run too cool.
