Wildcat fuel???

Has anyone run this?? I'm thinking about going to it 'cause I can order it direct from tower..........my LHS has gotten under my skin and well, I'm not going to be getting my fuel from there if I can help it. Any feedback on this brand of fuel would be appreciated............Thanks guys!! :bow:

I've used it in 20% nitro and it worked reasonably well. I've always used O'Donnell and my R/C vehicles seem to like that much better.

I used the Wildcat Eliminator fuel with 18% oil and it is good fuel. Easy to tune with, and price is good. The only bad thing I can say about it is that it has tons of oil in it. Not that that is so terrible, but it tends to drip alot of excess oil out the pipe. It is orange and resembles taco grease and makes a mess. Other than that it works great. I would suggest trying the 14% oil package, maybe it would be a little better for excess drippage. Or really I would suggest getting the O'Donnell R2R fuel. I love it! I switched to it and my temps went down and my run times went up. It is clear so its hard to see how much is left in the tank from a distance but other than that its awsome. I just ordered 3 quart size bottles with my Tower order so I can split up a gallon into smaller bottles for "Stay fresh action". Its spendy compared to Byrons or Wildcat but not that much more. In fact the R2R is the same price for 4 gallons as the Wildcat with 14% oil from Tower. Good luck!!

I originally bought a gallon of the Wildcat Eliminator 20/14%. Once I ran out of (and got tired of paying high prices for) Top Fuel 20%, I switched over to Wildcat. Richened it slightly, and it seemed to work fine. I ran into engine troubles but it wasn't the fuel's fault (Traxxas verified and replaced the defective piston and sleeve). I switched to Trinity Monster HP just to rule out bad fuel, but the Wildcat was not the cause and it runs just as good on the Trinity as it did on the Wildcat.

Unfortunately, no places local to me have O'Donnell or Byrons, or else Id use them. Wildcat and Trinity Monster HP can both be had within 5 miles of my home, so I use them.

I dont know how long I can let this stuff sit, but if the Wildcat is still "good", I might change back because of the slightly higher oil content than Monster HP (14% vs 12%).

I've been driving/racing NITRO touring cars for years now and now love the 4x4's.....IMHO Team Sidewinder and O'Donnel are the best fuels you can get. O'Donnel being the best but not substantially better for the price. The O'Doneel can be pretty pricey but like others have said it's not ALLOT more and you can get it buy the quart of of course 4 gallons from tower and avoid the Hazmat fees. I've never seen O'Donnel fuel for sale locally but most of my LHS carry Team Sidewinder.
