Wii Games?

I picked up a Wii yesterday and was wondering what some of the better games are.

Has any one played Call of Duty or Medal of honor on the Wii?
Wondering how the controller action is.

Dig in man. You'll love it. As much as you'd think they're crappy, Wii Sports is by far the most fun I've had with that damn machine. It's awesome. You'll have sore shoulders by the end of the week.
I also have Legend of Zelda which is fantastic if you're a Zelda RPG fan.
My kids have Rayman Raving Rabids which is good for the entertainment value alone and the mini-games are really good.
Plus they have Cooking Mama Cookoff which is interesting. Not the worst Wii game.
Sadly, I have Medal of Honor: Vanguard and I have to say it pales in comparison with any other WWII games I've played. It's so bad that I'm moments from listing it on Ebay just to try to recoup some of the money I spent on it. I played through it on medium and rarely died. I tried to play it again on hard and it wasn't really fun the second time through. I say stay away from it.
Luckily there are a lot of new ones out to check out. I think the Sonic game gets good reviews and Mario Party looks cool. Hoping for an all new Mario Kart. That would rock on Wii.

LUCKY!!! I have been trying to find one here in Socal. NO ONE has one. I have been told 3 weeks...3 weeks... Its been 3 months...

I have seen them at my local Target several times over the last month. Supply has started to catch up with demand around here.

I walked right into EB Games and got one.
Had nothing to do with the waiting list people not coming to pick them up on time

I was going to go get MOH. I think ill hold off for now. Ill check out some of the other titles you listed. I believe that the video store has a few titles for rent. Ill start checking a few out.

I already have a bum shoulder and its only been one day. Its fun kicking my wife's ass at boxing as well.

I'm looking forward to downloading F-Zero, its one of my all time faves on the GBA.

Socal does not have them very many of them. I have been wanting to get one for my son for some time. Hopefully I will be able to get one this year!

The game we got with our package that is really fun is Excite Truck....its a blast.

I also agree the Wii sports games are fun for the whole family...I think I am a better bowler now..

I'm totally intrigued by the Virtual Console, but I haven't bought any points nor have I bought the Classic controller. F-Zero is the best. And they also have a N-64 version. So that's on my list.

Have you made your Mii yet? Scary thing is I made one that looks freaking just like me. It totally heebs the kids out.

So my daughters birthday is today and my son's is Aug 7th. This year they have been asking for what we consider 'big ticket items'. We decided to get them a single present that they'll have to share. We decided on Rockband for the Wii. I didn't think it was going to be something I'd like, turns out I can't put the guitar down...LOL. My wife took the daughter and her friends out last night and my son and I started our 'band career', he's the signer and darn good at it too. We're on the Easy setting but we both score around 90% on most of the songs. It's a blast and even at $170 I think it was worth it.

Now I'll probably end up getting them Guitar Hero too....LOL

My girls love Guitar Hero. And I have RB on the way for my 360 (they don't know that yet). I am guessing they'll love that. It's hard to put those controllers down...

I too want to try out Call of Duty as well as their new fitness pad they just came out with, looks pretty cool.

I've played Mario Smash brothers and it's not to bad. I've been playing games from the virtual console and the sports CD which I love!

The wii is excellent! mario kart is great. i'm glad they give you 3 different ways to play the game .. i don't like using the steering wheel .. i wish all the other wii racing games gave you that option aswell... i don't see why they haven't.

anyway i think we should all exhcange wii numbers and so we can send eachother our mii's !

Hey, I've had a wii since the day it came out! sleeping infront of the store!! anyway medal of honor is good but u need a zapper u can't hold still using the nunchuck and remote way too hard. WII FIT is pretty fun too we just got it.. MARIO KART WII is byfar the funniest I've played..
