There was a thread here about a year ago or something like that with these really wierd looking pipes they made originally for 1:1 racing motorcycles but that had expanded to include making rc pipes. Anyone remember this thread? I just got finished with a long search for this thread but couldn't find it. Anyone rememb ther thread or know where that web page was that sold these pipes?

You Mean the ritter pipes??? The ones that looke Like an ugly arse banana???

I remember the thread but I have no Idea where it's at.. probably gone after the server changes.:duff:

EP, I wasn't here for the thread but I know exactly what your talking about. They make them for high performance 2 cycle motor cross bikes/snow mobiles. I saw this pipe on a 1/5 scale touring car, the car always came with one sleek looking real carbon fiber intake. I'll try to get you some info.

Its definately the Ritter pipes

El - you still looking for a pipe for the .26 .27 range?

If so, I suggest the THS pipe. Works great on my .26 Picco.

Link me please to the THS pipe.

Yes it was the ritter pipe I was looking for, banana pipe found it in the search engine. I shot him an e-mail inquiring about a custom pipe.

Does anyone know the 1/5 scale I'm talking about. Here is the video that show it. Its in the beginning. Sitting on a pedastal. Moto Cross pip, Carbon fiber intake, quite remarkable. NOTE- might wants to, save as on the movie.

EL...you have the right folks for a custom pipe...if they will build it. Man...I can't believe everybody makes such a big deal out of the shape of the Ritter Savage pipe. They guarantee it to outperform ALL the other pipes ON THE MARKET or your money back. Add 4 mph to the top end and 2 mph 0-40 feet range. Look at it this way...you can swap a 15 tooth bell to a 18 tooth on a stock savage and not have an easy time gaining 4 mph or throw on this pipe and gain quickness and more RPM's for a bigger top end. Who knows, a shot of 30% a little porting and an "ugly" pipe might give a stock Picco a little run for its money. Ritter makes great pipes for quads too.

I received an e-mail back from him about this pipe. I'll call him tomorrow and see if he can make one for me and how much it's going to cost since it's custom.

The pipe I am wondering about was the banana pipe and I've already been talking to the manufacturer via e-mail about making a custom one for me.

As it turns out he's presently busy with other projects so I'll probably get the THS pipe for now. I did talk to him about testing out some pipes for him in the future if he decided to try making buggy pipes. I hope he does.

I'm still off subject here but I'm trying to not sound crazy buy showing you the car I was talking about here she is
