So i was at work today when i got a call from my g/f stating that there was a package at the door. I was quite suprised because the only package i was expecting was from charlestheman containing the RC18b that i bought from him. YESTERDAY. Well she said the return address was from him and i bout near wet myself i was so excited. So i finished the traffic stop i was on and went straight to my LHS and bought the sidewinder micro 5700KV brushless motor and ESC. Just got done putting it all together and got the new 3S lipo charged. The castle link had not come in at my LHS so i had to call Castle to have them walk me through the setup. (amazing service by the way). So i put in the 12 tooth pinion, and set out to try this badboy that i had heard so much about. 54MPH!!!!!!!! No other modifications yet..... but i was blown away. So for sure a shout out to charlestheman for his yet again great service, and to Castle Creations for the great service.


And now I'm going to go cry because it just started raining and i can't run anymore.

I always wondered why that state trooper let me off in such a hurry after he looked down at his cell phone during a traffic stop that I thought would land me a major ticket...Hope you let them off the hook too...

Anyway, I've got a 6800kv with a 2s lipo, thinking I may jump up to a 3s soon. I'm guessing you actually got that 54mph in a residential 15mph zone on radar officer?! Hope you didn't blow through any stop signs either...

Nah, i wrote her up. No baby seat in her car, she was holding the baby in her lap. That pisses me off and never gets a break from me.

Yep, my radar is getting recertified so i had a buddy with city police radar it for me. We were actually on the highway, its the only place that i could open it up. It was cool though i was passing 1:1 cars trying to go the 45 mph speed limit.

I'm having to run it topless right now though because the buggybody will not fit around my bigass lipo. Sooo I'm going to probably convert it to MT. But I'm going to keep the badass lookin wing on it.

I highly recommend the RPM towers if you're going to convert. Aside from the body it's all you really need to convert unless you "have" to have new tires right away. I got mine from tower, the set was under $15, but I'd have to check the exact price. Got mine in black, I also have a black rpm bumper and full set of rpm arms. A+ Stuff, wouldn't settle for less. As for traction, proline wabash wheels and roadrash tires are a great combo, though I believe I'm actually tearing the wheels up faster than the tires due to the tires ballooning up on high speed passes.

Yea, I'm gona make a patrol in the area of my LHS and stop on in and see what they got for it. What would you recomend for spur/pinion gear tooth counts?

Anyone ever tried the integy cage for this thing?

i must be getting old, i remember back in the day when a kid could sit in his dads lap and steer the car, or you could drive around in the back of a pickup with 15 friends, and a helmet? i didnt have no helmet for my bike, they didnt even make them, all illegal things nowadays

Yea, i deffinatly opened it up today, and whipped up on some brushless slashes. And i had never seen a mini do a double backflip before today. I'm loving it. Battery is charging as i type for running tommorrow.
