Why would one wheel be slightly off-centre?

Put my Savage X 4.6 back together after changing servos & the front left will looks slightly off centre now (front right is fine). As far as I'm aware, it was fine before I started.

What's the issue? How do I rectify?

i would have to guess, you didnt get the hex pin in the hex groove when you bolted the wheel down. take it off and try again.

I've checked that on both wheels & doesn't seem to be that..

something will be obviously different. take the tires off and compare. it shouldnt be that hard to figure out.

Do you think I need to adjust the tierod on the side that's out? What other things are there to check?

the tierod would change the toe setting of the wheel, not move the entire think out a 1/4 inch.

start by looking where the arms attached to the chassis. take the tires off like i said. is the hub further out?\

compare the tire to the arm. do they both line up at the same place?
