Hi people

New to the forum

Can someone help me figur out why my team infinity .18 engine won't start? It hasn't been used for quiet a while now.

I have stripped carb cleaned it
Cleaned exauhst
Changed battery's
Renewed fuel
Tuned hi and low point
Primed engine and still nothing

And just ordered a new glow plug.

Any help would be great

Thanks reece

Check your glow plug igniter to make sure that it's battery is charged or has a fresh battery if it is not a rechargeable version.

Try replacing the glow plug. Then try resetting the needles back to original factory settings.

You could pull out the glow plug and stick it in the igniter so you can actually see if it glows that would help narrow down the plug.

Are you positive you are getting fuel through it?

Just a thought you could have a a plug in the line somewhere, when I prime an engine I always pull the line off of the exhaust and gently blow a little fuel into the carb. I do not trust the primer button on the fuel tanks, you may also want to try and drop a little fuel directly into the carb when you try and start it again if it fires up then you probably have blockage in you line or the needle valve for the carb.

You might have flooded it. Remove the plug and flip 'er upside down. Also I believe it may be the glow plug as well.

I am down to say wait on the new plug to arrive

Sorted mate fired up let it run for a tank then filled up had a bash then it started but wouldn't move lost 2 of the screws for the engine that go underneath, could this be why it won't go? As I could hear the cogs moving?

motor could have shifted and the clutchbell could have been barely engaing the spur gear causing it to skip the clutchbeel could be moving but the spur is not being engaged by the clutchbell

What was the motor issue?
