why is this happening!!!!

hey everyone i have a savage x4.6 and it was running fine for like 20 seconds but then it died out of random when i tried to start it again it wouldnt start. so what i had to do was give it throttle wile starting it and then hold the throttle on for a while. why is this happening thanks

At first start up each day it's normal to have to give it some throttle to stay running. That's the main function for the throttle trim knob on your radio.

What I do, is set the throttle trim to center, then set your throttle at the servo to about 1mm from the collar. When you start, turn the trim knob until the throttle begins to engage. Then you can keep a steady fuel stream without revving the hell out of it to warm it up.
