why can't i tune my idel

can anoyone help i can't et my truck to idel still. when i let go of the throtel and the car keeps moving slowly

What happens when you hit the brake?
Is the trim knob on your Tx turned down?

the engine stays rev'd of a bit and then the rmp lower but they are still too high when the car stops completly.

what is the trim knob?

Knobs on the radio. One centers the steering and the other raises or lowers the idle.
