Who has won a lottery?

I was wondering who out of our current members has won one of the lotteries here at RCNT, and I thought it would be neat to see who won the lotteries in the past, and what prizes the won. I know there has been many lotteries, and I've heard several people mention differnt lottos that they won.

I'll start it out.

When: February 28, 2008

Now lets hear who else has won what prizes, and good luck to everyone. I just hope that whoever wins the axial really deserves it.

The mod curse is real.

NC curls up in the fetal position after each lottery lamenting how many have went by without him winning.

Rolex is in denial.

There is always hope that one day the curse will be broken.

I used to have a list of all the winners, but I believe one drunken rage night I reformatted my computer and thus the file is gone now.

If I'm not mistaken though, everyone that has won a lotto in the past is still active on the forums minus maybe 2-3 of them.

I believe Zandor and I are the only multi lottery winners.

For some reason in the back of my mind there might have been someone else that won 2, but I can't put my finger on it.

I was the winner of the RCNT official grand opening engine givaway. Which didn't seem to meet with much favor. But I still have the engine and it's still in great running shape.

The Nitro 'Miss Budweiser' hydroplane was one of his wins.

When is the next raffle? Is this something that is done on a regular basis? I saw where someone won a Budwieser hydroplane- that would be COOL!! I would like to have one of the 1/8 scale gasoline powered Budwieser (or other) hydroplanes- how about one of those in a raffle??? Summer will be here soon (I hope).

So are you saying that only supporting members and mods are eligible for winning a lotto?

no they're eligible, its just that no one really cares about them

Anybody who buys a ticket is eligible to win.

No mod has ever won.

I would have to say that a majority of winners were not contributers at the time of winning. Most that have won end up supporting the site afterwards.

Bottom line is that everyone who buys a ticket has an equal chance of winning.

Obviously, the more tickets you buy, the more chances you have.

what he really means is everyone is eligible to buy tickets, but only supporting members and mods are eligible to win. Really though, anyone can win, and the lottos are always fun. From what I hear, it was uncommon for Zandor to spend hundreds a year on RCNT lotto tickets.

The more you buy, the better your chances. However, when I won the baja, I bought 4 tickets, there were 100 sold. The winning number was the first one that I was assigned, so basically I would have won even I would have bought one ticket.
