I h ave a tmaxx 2.5 that i want to replace the motor in. which is my best choice? A OS .18 crvx or the Trx 3.3. i dont want to spend over 130 on a motor.

I have the 3.3 in mine and it moves it pretty well. I've heard that .18 is pretty strong though. People say the 3.3 can be finicky to tune and I can't argue with that opinion.

When I was getting ready to buy a motor for my maxx about a month ago I did some research. The OS 18tm will drop right in as well as the 3.3. The general concesus from people who had both was that they had about the same amount of power. The OS might have a very small bit more bottom end but that was about it. However most said that the OS was a lot easier to tune and kept a tune better. I haven't had either, just telling what I discovered through talking with people. I really like the OS engines, and I will eventually replace my 2.5 with an OS.

I'm with ya Ralph, but I'm argued that soo many times I can't take it. I just have to roll with it now. Stupid Nascar....
