OH GREAT!! Are they expensive?? Do aftermarket companies make them??

the drive shafts? no they are not expensive but i would see no need to have to upgrade the drive shafts they work well with the litttle car

Not for me... but I only run mine once in a great while around the house to irritate the cats. My only issue is overheating the motor because I installed 4 AAA cells which almost doubled the weight of the vehicle. Now it's too much for the motor.

I'm currently looking for a more robust motor and hope it helps. I'll probably change out all the bushings for bearings as well. My biggest problem is cat hair (regardless how much we vacuum) getting wrapped around the axles and causing excessive drag, which is what really seems to be overheating the motor.
Are you using Alkaline or NiMh/NiCd? If you're using Alkalines, try the lithium AAA cells. They weigh about half of what the alkalines weigh.

They do make Aftermarket dogbones for the micro T. I saw them on one of the online shops I frequent.
