Thats a tough one,,, you have to consider a few different factors
#1 is price, 3.3= $100 O.S. 18 = $215
Next keep in mind that the 18tm is no longer in production, so it is more difficult to find, and replacement parts are very expensive.
As for power, i would say they are about equal.
IMO, if you want major power and are willing to spend the money get the O.S. 21tm. This motor screams and is still in production so it will be a lot easier to find parts for.

I like the O.S. engines, they tune very easy....I have an O.S.21tm in my tmaxx. the power is Awesome. I also have an OS.18tm in my Nitro Rustler and...WOW
