I'm getting a Lsp-r and I'm having trouble on what engine to use on it. I want a lot of power and speed. I was thinking of either the axial .28, ofna picco .28, or the xtm 457 pro .28. Which one would be better and if there are any other good engines out there that match what I'm lookin for let me know. I'm kinda on a budget of $200.

I have a LRP .28 Spec3 Truggy. It screams, and is a quality engine. I haven't used the ones your talking about, but the lrp has proven itself with the pullstart version on many lst's over at lstforums.com. I would go with the lrp truggy(non pullstart). It has a lot of power and still will run a lot of rpm's. You can find them for around 165.00 this is the part number ASCLRP32809. Otherwise I would go with the picco .28 because of its reputation.

On a budget of $200, the LRP and the Picco would be the ways to go. I have run the Picco and its an animal. I had the NON pull turbo head version

Also with the lrp it comes with interchangable carb inserts, so if it has too much power you can tame it down a little by putting a smaller carb insert in it and that also helps to save on fuel when your racing. You will really like that engine.

Is this the motor you are looking for they have it on ebay for $129 plus $10 shipping from Dinball. (LRP (#32171) Z.21R Pullstart Off-Road Buggy Engine Item number: 110100362270 )

Sorry, I guess I can not read. check with dindall, they may have it also. I am going to build a Mugen MBX5R or the MBX5T Pro Spec, and I need an engine for it.
