I am looking at replacing the stock engine but I am not sure which one to go for, I would like a pull start and that is all my requirements, so please any suggestions?

can you place that straight into a regular t-maxx? I don't want to have to do too many mods to get it to work

Well if traxxas would get off there lazy ass and put out the conversion kit with ever thing you need to run it then me and you could both have a 2.5 in our maxx.

Check ebay, People buy maxxes and part them out.

The new Sirio .18 would be my suggestion. Whether its the new or old Maxx. I dont think you can go wrong......

I want to see a side by side run of the new 2.5 vs. the Sirio .18

Wondering.............

Well if you run a 2.5 or the siro on the old maxx it will take some modifications you are going to have to add a bell crank or move the tank and some other stuff and install a rear servo. I suggest the first if you dont plane to race. IF you get the 2.5 bellcrank setup for a few bucks then a couple piece of linkage and 3 holes later you will be running a slide carb just like on the 2.5 truck. X
