i got my temp gun was wondering where do you all get you temps at? do you shoot down into your glow plug ot just of the outside? if in the glow plug do i need to pull my blue wire first or will it make no differance. thanks russ

Yes, take the temperature at the glowplug. It might be more difficult to get a reading with the glow plug wire attached but you'll probably still be able to get a good enough reading. Try doing it with the wire attached and then not. If the maximum temps are substantially different... say 20 degree or so, then I would continue to take the temp with the wire off.

have my temps between 230 and 240. but I'm still fouling glow plugs they are coming out dark brown any ideas on what to adjust. seems like every time i go either direction it starts running like crap.. if i go wot from a stop i hesitates fora a sec. and then takes off. this is on a 3.3 t-maxx i also have a rb pipe on it single outlet if that wouls help any thanks again guys
