Where is REVO's serial number?

Can anybody tell me where the serial number is on the REVO?

the serial number on the revo is on the top of the tranny.

Yeah, but after a few squirts of Nitro cleaner and 125psi for cleaning, it goes away real quick.

so that nobody uses my serial. because if their warranty ended they give my serial to traxxas and theyll send them a new part for free , but theyll be using my serial.

well i dont mind if some one stills my serial number as I got Revo 2.5

Traxxas will also accept the engine serial number stamped in the case. It's what I used. For once i was able to forsee the disappearance of the stuck on number as posted a few comments ago and went with the stamped metal. For me, that is a fairly huge victory.
