When to check the temp??

Hello, I just got a new Raytek temp gun, and unsure about when to check the temp. Do you check the temp at idle, or after you have turned the motor off? Whats a good temp range? I have an RC10gt rtr.

Best check it while its running at normal operating temp, which means after you been running it for 5 - 10 minutes so it has a chance to reach it's operating temp.

Just do like 5 full speed runs past you. Then bring it in to check the temp when still idleing. Try to check the temp as soon as you stop......Nick
