It climbs up through the wider turn and drops right after the 2nd hairpin on the right end. The way it runs is the 3 hairpins in a row.

I'm actually curious to see the lane change in action - that's going to be really interesting. Is it a physical slot in the track, or is it something in the car itself that allows it to change lanes?

There's a decoder unit in the cars that tells the track to change when the car gets to it. It's so accurate that in a car is right on the other's bumper, it will change back before the other car can be affected by the lane change. You can push the button on your controller way before you get to the lane change track and if you are on the rear bumper of a car before you, it will pass over it before it changes for you.
You can read a full report on it here

Hell yeah! I have myself, 2 of my sons (the 26 & 22 year olds) and a friend down at the track on Sunday afternoons now. Have another guy joining us tomorrow. Can't wait till we can all get on the track at once. They're going to buy their own controllers too. I'll supply a few cars for different classes. They have a couple each. My RC store guy ordered me 10 decoders. The conversion set comes with 3 too.

Talked on the phone with my RC store guy this afternoon and he said the N-Digital stuff will be IN HIS STORE Tuesday or Wednesday next week!!!!!
I'm in Massachusetts............I don't need any Viagra today!!! LOL

That link has more info than I knew before too lessen. I can't wait!

AND

I asked if anyone was interested in trading some cars for a few RC18Ts. I figured I had 5 of them and could part with the 3 that I hadn't converted to Sprint Cars. I got 4 for 2 of them and 5 for the other. I also piced up a couple good bargins in the process. All in all I have 19 cars coming in the mail this week! That'll bring my total count to 70.....

The N-Digital stuff was supposed to ship to the stores today.....

It didn't ship today :(

It arrived today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So did 4 of the cars I swapped my trucks for and 2 I bought.

I'll be going down cellar to start getting it hooked up now!!!

A couple of my sons will be by tomorrow afternoon and we're going to put it through it's paces! I figure the only way to test it is with at least 3 decent drivers.

Do you already know where to get the extensions? First guess from the picture is that they might be RJ45-style plugs (like the handset phone plug... smaller than a normal phone plug). If that's the case, I don't see why a normal phone cord couldn't do the trick?
