When did the 3.3 T-maxx come out?

I'm about to pick up a 3.3 Tmaxx on craigslist for 225 bucks. He says he can't get me pics but I'm going to go look at it. Just wondering when they starting making them with the 3.3 so I can have an idea how old it will be? He says he's had it about a year or so and it's the original engine.

225 for a used tmaxx.....RIP OFF! You can buy a used HPI savage for 170 or less!

If that tmaxx has been sitting around doing nothing for a year with the stock engine and other parts on it then don't go near it.

my friend has a t maxx not sure if its a 2.5 or 3.3 but its 300$ 2gallons of top fuel 3 sets of wheels 7 bodys and clip on spinners
