What would be a good all around wheel and tire set that would save weight and improve the stability of my savage? I was looking at Proline, but I just wanted to ask all of your opinions first.

For Bashing.. I would recommend a Maxx size tire and rim. No need to go 23mm unless yougot it that way or you race. I am partial to the MT Badlands and Moabs. As far as stability, I would suggest getting the hang of driving it well.

You are in Northridge!! A local yocal..err socal.

Ahh cool thanks, but what company would the happen to be? The reason I am looking for a new tire and wheel set is because it seems like the stock tire on my Savage 21 sidewall flexes to much and goes under the wheel itself and over it goes.

Those would be put out by PL as well.....

I would go with the 40 series Moabs...(personal preference)...they are wider than stock and don't require an adapter like the 23's do.

That's actually what I will be getting for my Maxx in the near future.....

Sorry bout that they are made by Proline. BUT any MAXX size rim will do the job. Except for any metal rim. Usless bling.

I used to run the ProLine Monster claws and a variety of treads, from the stock tread, to Maxx stock treads, BUT I had the most fun when I ran 40 series size tires. I used IMEX rims and tires and had a blast.

It is really up to you to pick a style and tread to suit your driving habits.
