the problem is when i start my savage and rev te engine the wheels are not turning can some 1 please help????

We need a starting point.
When it's on the ground and you rev it, does the clutch bell on front of the engine spin?
If the answer is no, take it apart and check the clutch springs and shoes.
Does the spur spin? If yes, try tightening the nut in the center and see if you start to get some pull. If you do, then the slipper is too loose and needs to be tightened.
Keep us posted.

hi pall yes the clutch bell mover and so does the spur gear just no movement in the car??? driving me insane ANY IDEAS?????

Now you need to start looking for missing or broken pins wherever a drive shaft connects.
But....since it's 4 WD and nothing is turning, you'll need to spin the spur and see if you're getting anything out of the output shafts on the trans. If not, you'll need to open it up.

just started it on my tool box with the wheels free to move the first time i started it the wheels were moving on idle i used brake to stop them the car cut out ,so started it up agin and they was'nt moving again??? really driving me crazy I'm dying to go out with it as my dads just bought a nito airboat and been playing with that aaarrrrrggggghhhh lol

There's no load when the wheels are off the ground.
that's why they were able to spin.
It stalled when you hit the brake...that means you have to turn the idle trim all the way down and adjust the idle screw while holding the trigger in full brake position.

k cheers, any idea why its not moving? been reading up on net people saying clutch shoes what do you think?

Could be many things, from the clutch, drive shafts, tranny, if all the tires spin and drive shafts too, could be the tranny stripped, or, slipper gear is too loose, or, clutch is messed up, or, if it is a two speed, could be something wrong with the gears inside tranny, doubt it is the clutch on the engine, if there is one there, it would react in some way i would think, if the drive shafts are good, i would move on to the tranny, make sure the slipper gear is tight, and check the gears inside the tranny, make sure they are all good, if it is a two speed, there are adjustment screws inside in the gears, that work almost like the clutch, except instead of clutch pads, there are fingers that pop out, could be a problem in there some were....hope it helps, my suggestion, tear it down and find that problem before you ruin it! Need more help? Email, i will send pics of parts and instructions! [email protected].....:)

thanks mate il get back in touch cheers

its an upgraded 3 speed when i turn the wheels the all move independantly ad the drive shafts all move fine???
