Where's Wheel and Tire 101?:help: :help:

What wheels will fit the revo? What tires will fit the wheeles that will fit the revo?

What adapters are needed to fit the wheels that don't fit the revo? and what tires will fit the wheels that don't fit the revo unless using an adapter?

Most Production Trucks are 14mm which is what the Revo has. If you want to use Maxx rims LST rims, Savage rims. Careful not to get the LST 2 20mm or the Savage X 17mm rims. Proline has a great selection. If you are looking a bigger rim go to Proline's website to see what they have. I personally like the 40 series wabash rim with 40 series Bowties. I had the 23mm type rim so you will need the 23mm Adapters. Pro line , Dace Mfg, Integy and Crazy Nut Racing ( better off going to Ebay for these ) Had a bad time with them.

Other than this overview... search the forum. Its been discussed before.

Thanks for the info!!!

What do you think about the commando beadloc's and Big joes?
just for playing around

Beadlocks are great if you take the tome and don't strip the hex head screws. I personally would recommend the Maxximizer Composite Beadlocks because they aren't very expensive and they're a little bit lighter than the others.

As for the tires there are lots of different opinions on them. It just depends on what type of surface you are running on. The nice thing about beadlocks is that you change tires on the fly. It takes me about 10 minutes per wheel, but I'm definitely not NASCAR pit-crew material.:third_place:

Yeah, I'm going to stop by the hobby shop today and see what they have. If they have nothing of interest i'll probally go with the pro line commando bead-loc's or the Cheyenne narrows.

I mainly (for now) run on my lawn and on the street. Eventually I want to race but we have no local track. :eyes:
