I have a Savage X 4.6 RTR and i hear all this about wheelies on command, and i was just wondering how to do them?..I'm new to RC and i dont wanna do anything that could damage anything:D

Break it in, tune it right, and there's no way not to do wheelies. My stock X 4.6 will flip over backwards just from a throttle blip.

alien>>>> how do you get yours to wheelie that easy of demand, i want myne to wheelie, but the only way for me to do it is to, brake hard then open up throttle straight away, any help or advice?

matt, i have put new dual slipper in, and have tuned everything i could possibly do to it, which needle is the one that does that? the HSN? thanks for quick reply ;)

and alien, in the book it sais tighten fully then release 1/2 turn? i have done that if i tighten anymore will it not damage it?

Well, the lsn is what has the biggest impact on take off. As long as the hsn is set where it needs to be(good smoke, good top end). If you feel your hsn is dialed, do a pinch test. After a couple of high speed runs, pinch the fuel line. It should take 2-3 seconds to rev and die. Anymore and the lsn is rich. Any less, it's lean. A tight slipper just sends the shock further down the line. Running a tight slipper can be risky if you land off of jumps on the throttle, ect...

right so basicly do not tighten the slippers up anymore lol, so i need to adjust the LSN, and that would be to make it leaner or richer?

what ya mean lol what he said? and naa there new slippers, not shot at all

well why can't you see? this is not responsable!! lol, and well i just want to know how to pull wheelies lol, the car is running lovely, no problems what so ever.......now! lol,

I mean, Metalhead Matt is probably right. If your slipper is back off 1/2 turn, it should be lifting. Tighten it a 1/4 turn and try that, if it doesn't flip your truck on it's back, then either your tune is bad, or your clutch is slipping.

well i deff know the tune is not bad, cos everything else is fine, top end is fine, it is not
putting out alot of smoke, which all indicates good points, so I'm guessing it could be clutch shoes, but i will try tightening the slipper
