OK heres my setup.

Savage X frame with an XL 5.9 motor.
upgrading to 3 speed tranny soon.
stock tires/wheels.

I wanna know in your opinion, what would be the best clutch bell and spur gear tooth combination for the best acceleration AND top speed once my 3 speed is in.

I know I can't have both, but would prefer more acceleration and willing to sacrifice some top speed.

Imma big basher and jumper but love the speed too!

If you want good acceleration, and a good top speed I would go 16/49 with a high speed 3rd gear.

lightweight tires and a 3 shoe mugen clutch setup will also help.

I have the exact set up but only the 2-speed tranny. I run 18-47 but often have trouble keeping the wheels down. If the 3 speed has a lower 1st gear, which I think it does, I would go with 19-47 set up.
