Anyone have a good suggestion for a wheelie bar? I would like to make something rather than purchase one. Any creative suggestions??

Hmm... not sure. I have the HPI wheelie bar and it's fine. It's plastic and it doesn't really cost all that much. It'll probably cost you just as much to make one as to buy that one.

Thanks, BOUTCH, there it is....
Started out as a stock alloy setup from rc-mall, then went through some bench top re-engineering.

WOW that pretty sweet....do you have any other pic's from different angles?? I would assume that they piviot?

Yes. The stock arms were reversed and turned upside down, then mounted as a moving swing arm, rather than a locked one.

Thanks, Basher. This is the best pic I could find of the original stock setup.

The little wheels are 1 1/2 inches from the ground, and don't engage till the front tires raise 3 inches. The springs are strong, and the oil is very heavy, so they should be very smooth as far as dampening the rise and pushing it back down, instead of just hitting hard and causing the rear wheels to lose traction.

Nice Job!! That is sweet.....Is that a one way check valve or another fuel filter on the pressure line going to the fuel tank? What is that for??
