am i the only one who finds this no help in stopping my sav flipping on to its roof
i'v tried both wheels on it and am running 18/47 gearing

I also run 18/47 with an old Picco 26 and I can still flip it over with either the big or small roller on the HPI wheelie bar. The bar certainly helps but you will still flip over if you don't drive the truck properly.

i made a 8in long wheeliebar out of alluminum tubing soldered togather that i had used on my savy once......looked a bit like a dragracing wheeliebar......it was a little heavier than i wanted so i sold it but my save never flipped with it on......

i'v tried varying the throttle at pull off and backing off it when the nose is up but it doesn't seem to help

The bar will not stop a violent wheelie from flipping. Don't hit it so hard off the line. You can also make suspension changes.

it still does it with a non violent wheelie
also what type of suspension changes. i have already shortened the shocks about 12-15 mm

There is no substitute for throttle control. I could make my Savage ride wheelies on the wheelie bar well into second gear using the small wheel. You need to use the least amount of throttle to get the front end up and very slowly increase throttle.
