How in the hell can I get the nut off? I don't have vice grips, someones gota have a fix for this
 
your gonna have to get something you can get ahold of it with. vice grips, channel locks, something.
 
I just don't want to mess up the threads on where u put the nut on.(Not sure what u call it).
 
No, I'm not gona smash the hell outta it. Guess ill hav to get sumvice grips tomorow.

Lol,I just got stuck with a $450 dentist bill for a gold crown, only food goin in this mouth now!

I doubt it. Also, I am not sure if the Savage X has one side with a reverse thread like my Savage SS has, so if it does make sure you get the right ones.
 
they stopped with the "one side backward" thing.

which nut do you need? the one for the 14mm or the ones for 17mm with the big shoulder on them?
