That is a side exhaust OS engine, the 2.5 is rear exhaust, so you are going to need to replace the header and pipe too. The shaft will need to be cut down as well.

i have the header clutch flywheel, its the same motor on that someone had on this t maxx i bought recently, the engine is junk but it has useable parts on it, i should just use the old shaft since i just noticed its already been cut to fit on my maxx since i have to tear down and seal up engine anyway and see if it really is "rarley used"

I forget the exact number of threads you need to leave, you can count them on the toasted mill, then use a cut nut on the shaft, run it down to where the part of the shaft you are going to cut is on the outside of the nut. Then when you remove the nut it will repair the threads so you can put the clutch nut on.

well i guess someone already cut it, when i pulled pff the clutch bell and shoes it had a shaft to hold the two gear clutch bell so i took that and the flywheel off and put my t maxx ones on and it al fit, i dd notice that i need a spacer? or washer or something like that it would go in between the clutch bell and the e clip u no what its called
