-Have about $600 in my LD3
-$325 in my NMT
-and about $500 in the savage (got it as a gift otherwse it would be $950

Then of course about $1000-$1200 in spare parts support equipment

$429 got me the old style Tmaxx almost 3 years ago. ProLine low/wide A arms
and a tuned pipe a couple of weeks later. Now it's a 2.5, Computer radio, 5 cell hump pack, Aluminum skid plates, servo cover, fail safe, etc, etc, etc. It's over a grand now.
Then the LHS where I bought it was going out of business, and at 40% discount for me, a very valued customer (spent thousands on airplanes) I bought another $1300 worth of spare parts and upgrades. So, with what's in the car, and what's in my parts bin, a little over 2 thousand.
Strangely enough, when I need a part, it's usually one I don't have in stock, so I have to go to the new LHS and buy it.

I had over $1200 in a HPI RS4 3 LMAO!!!!! That wasn't the most I spent but the funniest, I also had about $1600 into my T-Maxx but that was a bunch stuff to that wasn't on the truck because I bought different hop-ups when I ended up breaking or not satisfied with other hop-ups. Plus the LHS I used to buy from had prices higher than list! I didn't know any better at the time ooh well, 2 tears in a bucket fuckit!

i had a little over $2600 in my k2 but that was including the starter box to radio (not spares). too much? maybe, but then again it only took less than first place four times and three of those were due to breakage/stupidity.

OUCH....

$2500.00 in a Maxx and that's actually a conservative estimate. I sold it for $2000.00 and the buyer is EXTREMELY with it(as am I for not getting rape'd considering what I invested in it). My other Maxx/s have serious value but nothing compared to the one I sold.

It's not hard to Invest serious Cash IME, into a MT or 1/8th Buggy in a non abitrary fashion.

Hmmmm, now you got me thinking. At first I was only replacing broken parts (very few till I started racing). 2 engine's later (started with an OS .12CV-RX, then a .15 CV-R, now a Novarossi NS12S3A1 ... Rody X-12 was a freebie); 2 starter boxes (one was converted for the Serpent 710); New Chassis; New Radio; Pipe & Header; Servo's;Factory Team Rear upgrade & carbon set ... Maybe $700 retail but it's actually lower since I get things at cost or close to it from my LHS that sponsors me.

Now the whole vicious cycle is starting all over again with my Fusion 21 (gotta make the beast more durable)$200+/- a few bux and the 710 which will need few hop-ups. All I need are parts for when things break.

For my ntc3, i've got about $1000 in it...somewhere around there. But if you add up all the parts i've had to replace from being a n00b, i'd say probably in the $1500-2000 range.

Savage i've got about $800 in it...but it pisses me off cuz of the stupid truckzilla kit i should have never gotten

My wife knows what I spent. I have spent around then 600 dollars each on each of my rides. I have had quite a few since I started a couple years ago. 3 buggies: 2 H7 PCR PROs, Used Storm. Tmaxx 2.5, MGT, 4 NTC3's, RS4 RTR 3, 2 Mini-T, And a grip of ACCESSORIES. I may have left a couple rides out that I am too embarrassed to claim.Lol
