I have an opportunity to get a used 2.5 t-maxx for cheap. I'm definitely getting it, but whats the differences between a 2.5, 2.5R and 3.3. Should i upgrade the engine from the 2.5 to the 2.5R, or the 3.3. or should i just keep the 2.5, it runs fine, but i do want alot of power, (who doesn't).
p.s. I look forward to talking to all of you in the future.

Read traxxas's policy on replacement engines. When you do wear out the 2.5, they will upgrade you to the 2.5r at no additional cost. I have a 2.5 and a 3.3, the 3.3 weighs a ton and the 2.5 is a lot quicker. If you plan to add a lot of heavy duty parts the 3.3 is obviously the way to go, it all just depends on how you drive.

Keep the 2.5 till it won't run, then upgrade it to the 2.5r and repeat.
