Whats so Great abought the revo?...looking at buying 1

for an all around racer and basher, i thnk the revo is the way to go. now everyone has their own opinion. i love the suspension and durability. the only upgrade I've done to mine so far was RPM a-arms and a sirio .18 i also have a t-maxx and it can't handle the bashing my revo can take. I've heard good things about the savage also. but there is a lot of good trucks out there. read a lot of forums and watch some vids. maybe you can get a pretty good idea of what you want. but the choice is yours. :)

Thank you for the advice, is very helpfull

Very quick and light, basically a cheater monster truck racer. Handles awsome on the track, and is an ok basher, i only recommend it for racing. The motor is the hardest motor to find a tune on. If i got another one i would sell the engine on ebay for about 50 bux and get a new motor right off the bat.

the revo is an AWESOME basher , dont let anybody tell you different

I think the revo is in the top of its class, its not big enough or powerfull enough for me but if you want a sweet truck for racing I've seen a lot of them and they are absolutely the best, as for bashing I'm not sure so I can't give an answer to that!

hey MXBoy100 go buy another Revo, I'll give you $50 for the mill!

If your racing the Revo is the only way to go, the suspension is just unreal. With the monocoque design it's similar to what you'll find in an Indy car or F1 car. There's quite a bit you can do as far as mods/upgrades/hop-ups. As far as bashing, I've given mine some pretty good punishment and it's held up quite well. IMO, anyway you look at it you can't go wrong with a Revo. And if you need it Traxxas CS is really good too.

I own a t-maxx, savage and a revo. for me the revo out of the box is a great racer, raced the revo for the first tme with no other mods except pro-line maxx mulchers and placed 3rd over all, with 2nd going to a modded revo and 1st going to a mbx-4 truggy running a wasp .26. I havnt even bashed with my revo, only time i run it is when I'm practicing on my local race track. so far from how it has held up to racing I'm sure it would make a great basher.

cool sound like a good all around truck thanks for the input guys

Trust me on this one

I beat the hell out of my revo i jump it about 10-15 feet in the air landing flat ground i have in stock a spair rear and front diff that are the same a spare trans spare shock ends and a spair starter all p[urchesed on ebay cheap just in case i only had to replace the diff in the rear i came down hard on a double back flip and landed full throtle on the back wheels the jump was not big en so i tried to full throtel it around the rest of the way i have jumped my ext cargo ran about 100 times this truck is rock solid and a great buy i just bouhght the os 18 for it that is all i will do o i also put a bash kit on it cause i like to land upside down sometimes good luck to you sorry for the spelling and all

no problem (i am a bad speller also)

but thanks for the information, where can i get the cage?

The revo is very durable I should know i've hit a tree in mid air going full speed and didn't even break and the greates thing about it it's true.
