Okay Finally was able to run a tank and a bit threw the XL.

It seems to be running great up top, Changes gears fine. nice smoke. Temp steady between 240-260.

The problem is half the time from a stop, or slight roll, i will give it gas to go, and it will bog, other times it will take off.

Other thing is only ONCE has this thing ever wheelies for me. I have a pretty steep gearing on it, and smaller tires.

Xl with 5.9 and 2-Spd tranny. 1-1/2 gallons threw it.

the LSN handles the take off power. lean it a little.
I have three screws on my carb.

One long hadle type one by the inlet, i assume is the HSN.
One on the arm that moves with the throttle, and one exact oppisite to that one.

Which one would be what?

the smaller tyres wouldnt help it to do wheelies(bigger the better)
lean the lsn and maybe tighten the nut on the spring on the spur all the way in then undo about 1/4 turn and ithink its a higher tooth clutch bell with a lower tooth spur will make it better for wheelies too

Sorry, but this is pretty much all wrong. Bigger clutch bell and/or smaller spur=more top end, less snap off the line. Smaller clutch bell and/or bigger spur= More bottom end, less top speed. Better for wheelies. Smaller tires have the same effect on the gearing as a smaller bell and bigger spur. Though the small tires may be more likely to spin, not allowing wheelies. Bigger tires will gobble up power, sometimes to the point where you lose the ability to wheelie. Your problem lies in your tune. Get it right and you'll know it.
