I'm stuck! I don't know if I should put money into upgrading my Savage XSS or convert my vintage RC10 to brushless?! The nice thing about the rc10 option is I'll have it to ride for the winter while the Savage is on the shelf. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?!? I'm kind of building my Xmas list here too! Thanks!

I have a ton more fun with nitro Rc's so I would upgrade that but thats just my opinion. You could put in an ofna 52208 .32 big block. A 3 speed transmission and some bullit proof diffs.

Good luck on whatever you choose.

Thanks guys! I've actually decided to get a brushless kit for the Savage! I'm hoping it's not a waste of money because I have a feeling I'm going to want to convert back. But I feel I need to try it out, although, I love nitro. Well, wish me luck on the conversion! Anyone happy with theirs? Thanks.

I have a sacrificial engine I will be running in my Savage for the winter. In runs but don't care much about it so if it dies...no big loss!

Going Brushless is not a bad thing at all. You can tune the ESC and dial in your performance much better than any gas engine because you can choose when to throw the most power to the wheels.

You can set it to come on right from the get go and do wheelies or have it come on later and beat out any competition. Its very versitile and I enjoy it a lot. the only thing I miss is the sound. A nitro engine just sounds cool with 2 shifts !

Thanks so much! I feel like I made a good decision now. It does sound like a lot of fun although I know I'm going to miss the noise smell and smoke a lot! I do have a Nitro Sport but not the same thing. Well, we'll try it out for a bit. What conversion kit did you get? Thanks
