Hi,soon I will get some more cash and that means more hop ups onto my Revo.
Because of that I'm starting to plan all the hop ups that I want and list what do I have to buy and that's why I need to know what servo would be best to use in Revo (single servo)
double servo starts to annoy me because there always is some conflict between firs servo and second servo but also because it's damn hard so set them up perfectly,I'm looking for some servo that will have the power to turn the wheels with no problem.

thanks for looking.

is it strong enough?
and yes I find it hard as my servos have wear over the time and they don't have as much power as they had...

it should be but id go with the two stockers or two of those. it increases the life of the servos

JR Z9100T worht ever penny. The JR8711 is even a step up but the 9100 is killer. No the traxxas servos are not strong enough to use one.Two of the platinum servos together are good but I don't like the dual thing either for the same reasons.

I really like the Hitec 985MG. Strong enough for a revo or savage, fast and sealed. For $70, it's a really good servo. Also, it's not digital, so it won't drain your receiver pack as quickly.

Been running a couple for a couple years.

SPECS:
Operating Speed:
0.16 sec/60° at 4.8V
0.13 sec/60° at 6V
Output Torque: 133.31 oz-in (9.6 kg-cm) at 4.8V/172 oz-in @ 6V
Weight: 2.18oz (62g)
Size: 1.57 x 0.78 x 1.45" (40 x 20 x 37mm)

You would be much better off spending the money now than burning up a single servo set up with the wrong servo for the job. I ran the HS 5985 MG and it worked great. I would just suggest holding out or run 2.

I will try to search for some more on Ebay,I don't wanna spend more then £30 for the servo as I got lot's other hop ups planned for my Revo...

I'm not sure what the currency conversion is for that. It's been my experience that with servos, "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!" You can find all kinds of cheap crap on the bay with great specs but you really need to do your research before buying something just because it looks like a good deal.

I was thinking about my Revo 2.5 and I think that it's not worth to invest in it as it's old and for sure it is fun as it is,I'm thinking of letting it be stock and save up some coins to buy new Revo 3.3 in few months as I don't really think that is worth to invest in Revo 2.5
when engines dies new engine cost £135 (for TRX 3.3)
new servos would cost me another £40
then some new wheels and tires would cost me another £40
plus hop ups that would possibly cost me £100
and few other bits etc....
all together would add up to well over £250 in few months...
so I think that I will let my Revo be stock and just get an new Revo 3.3 when I will have enough cash... plus I would have tons of spares from my old Revo...
new Revo's are already hopped up,what do you guys think about it?

I was looking at the same servo just a few minutes ago and I was thinking about it as well but I gotta think what will I do now, spend money on my current Revo 2.5 or save up for newest Revo 3.3...

I've read that those aren't bad, but I can't recall where.

I have one of those TowerPro 995 servos and it centers like crap and overshoots... but it's strong and has held up fine in my jato. Decent servo for a basher... cheap too. Do a search on ebay for MG995 and you will find a lot of listings for it.

i bought this and it works faster than stock and has alot more torque.. not sure if its as much as advertized but it is alot more than stock

Thats basically a Tower Pro.You can usually get 2 of these for 20.00 bucks on ebay.I would say the 200 torque rating is about right and the speed is not that bad either but the deadband and the durability is a little questionable but for 10.00 each what can you say.

The new Revo has many good upgrades and the price is right.I would say save for the new one and keep the other.

maybe thats my problem with the centering issues I'm having... its not bad but i thought it might have alignment issues like toe or something it just doesn't wanna track straight under full throttle

Yea I used one and it has some wonder in it.It will turn 5" wide Jumbo Claws on the Cybermax sitting still though. You get what you pay for for 10 bucks.
