I am getting ready to run my new savage x 4.6 for the first time soon. The first mod I will likely do is new wheels as I don't care for the stock wheels. I'm looking for more of an offset to give it more of a wide stance and some dish on the wheel. I like the tires, so should I use those or get new ones? I guess the wheels wouldn't have to be wider, just more of an offset. Any recommendations? Thanks...

There were some dark gray 5 spoke wheels that HPI had a few years ago, There were very lightweight and i really liked them. This is the only picture i have. lol

As far as beadlocks go, the 40 series cheyenne ones are crap IMO and the only ones i ever ran that i liked were the maximizer ones with the 2 piece wheels.

if you are running the streets, the premounted phatlines are GREAT!

1/2" offset huh? I'd be happy if I could find some chrome wheels where the offset would be centered. I've seen deep dish wheels on show trucks more often for some reason. I would think it would help with handling and turning to have a wider stance. In my opinion a true monster truck should have a extra deep dish. I think centered offset might be good.
