would you say that pipe is alot better than the stock tuned pipe that already comes on the savage XL?

What are the benefits of having a ribbed pipe? If there are any..?

THS on my LRP Spec. 3. Big improvement over the HPI Tuned polished. Smaller ID stinger on the THS gives a little more back pressure and really helps maintain tune throughout a tank. I would highly recommend trying one.

I know that ribbed pipe is supposed to be pretty good.
I've heard some good reports on it from Phil D. Trojan.

I run the HPI polished in purple. Haven't tried anything else, but I like it. My buddy seems to think its loud, but I love the way it sounded.
