what spur and cb to run a big block?

i have a t maxx that started out life as a 3.3. It now has a 2.5 black tranny rrp gears, rrp foc, big block .28 engine but what should i run for my spru and cb? I'm running a rrp steel 72 tooth srup and a 20 tooth cb but it seem way under geared and the truck tends to run really hot like this

What kind of clutch are you using now?

I would opt for an RC Solutions big block spur and something like a 15T clutch bell. That would be a 1:8 scale CB, not a 1:10 scale CB.
