I know someone here is running shorter shocks that link up to the upper arms. I forgot who... I would like to know how they compare to the standard savage length shocks...

I'm pretty sure it was skymaxx. he said he got like only 4 buggy shocks on his savage.

Vince,

The link you posted was to a set of HB Threaded shocks. You can tell by looking at the upper spring retained.

As for the running of four buggy shocks, that would indeed be me. They are big bore 1/8 rear buggy shocks. They perform quite well.

I can get you more information, but I am certain that I posted a pretty good piece on it within this thread. If you have specific questions feel free to ask away. Be advised that I am away from home and it may take me a little to get back to you. PM me if you have detailed questions.

I was seriously was thinking of getting a pair of the integy piggybacks, they have been mentioned several times but has anyone had any experience with them? Last weekend I tried one of our so called bashing sessions at a local skate park, I had to take it a little slow because my father in law decided he wanted to drive it when he came into town.

Well full throttle into a curb and one cracked lower A-arm as well as too late to go to hobby store. A little JB weld and zip ties held ok for the skate park!!! I am learning the importance of brake and gas while in mid air and it values to help one level out.

Thanks,
Craig

I have the integy piggybacks; just got them yesterday though. I installed the rears and haven't had a chance to test as of yet. They look badass though...
