What Savage Body is This?

i thought it was a proline silverado but the picture is fender flares and different tailights than a silverado.

That's a stock HPI GT-1 body. That's what comes with the Savage straight from the factory. It's the same as these:

SOrry to derail, but candyman I love the red body! How the hell did you get that marble effect? It looks killer!!!!!

VB, that's done with saran wrap touched to the paint while it's still wet.

I'm impressed with the feedback I get on that body. Honestly, that body must have taken me like 15 minutes to paint. It's that simple. And it looks cool when it's done. Diver knows the drill. I laid a rather heavy coat of the red first. Then crumpled saran wrap and blotted it all over the body. Dried that coat and backed it in black. Badda bing badda boom. Done. The only real work was masking off the front bumper and bed to do in silver and black.

Only 15 min? Damn it looks like it would have taken forever. I guess when you have no clue about painting these things you wouldn't know that. :shrug:

Ok, so now that Candyman has turned this thread in to his own paint show, lol, I hate to point out that is NOT a GT-1 body. There is no cowl on the hood of the other body, the wheel flares on the GT-1 body have dimples where the rivets would be, the other body does not. There is a pillar between the side windows on the other body, the GT-1 does not have this. So that is not a GT-1 body, sorry guys.

Back on topic...
I did take a closer look and no, it's not a GT-1. But it's not an HPI or ProLine that I can find. Was there an older version of the Savage body from HPI that might be this?

I was thinking maybe Parma. I also looked at Pro-line, and HPI, but did not see it. BTW the GT1 was the first Monster truck body from HPI for the Savage.
