Hello all i am new to this forum so dont be to hard on me. I have a tmaxx 3.3 with the stock motor i want to get a better one something with a little more power.

I've been looking at the Picco .26 swap for a week or so now because I'm wanting the same thing. They have one that is a simple drop-in replacement for the 3.3. All you would need is the motor and engine mount (from what I have looked at).

what would be my best option i can't get this 3.3 to tune. I've done the sealing and still can't get it to tune not really looking for faster just dont want to screw with this crap motor anymore. Dont get me wrong faster would be better but i dont want to destroy tranny

YOU can save your tranny or blow it up, all with your index finger.... depending on how hard you pound it.....

Thats not really anything to do with the motor.... thats just skill.

Ha! Ha! Yeah thats right! Anyway my buddy put the .26 picco in his 4908 yes it does come with a carb you can still use the stock header, clutch bell, and EZ start. You will have to modify the pipe hanger slightly because the new engine mount move the motor up a little bit so the stock pipe hanger is too short. The only thing he has an issue with is the owb goes out pretty quick for some reason. No problems with his drive train so far and hes been running it for about 4 months now. He loves it and it is truly a beast!

i personally love the edelbrock 350 crate motor with electronic fuel injection. you could more than likely start with 450 hp at the block. youll have to upgrade the chassie, shocks, servos, remote, carb, fuel tank, screws, etc... all in all well worth the $ for the look sound and feel of the baddest r/c on the forum :p

Are you gonna post something useful? Or just dumb stuff that you find amusing for whatever reason. Back to the 3.3. It really sounds like you need to learn how to tune. Getting a new engine won't help if you can't tune what you have. I'd start over at factory settings and try er again.
