What makes a failsfe go bad? I have been struggling with my throttle servo in my Maxx lately and today i went to the track and i couldn't even get the serv to react to any input at all it was all locked up. Due to the bright sunlight I couldn't see the failsafe lite flashing at all. Finally seen it and removed the fail safe and all was well for the rest of the day. So what makes a failsafe go bad for no apparent reason? Can they be repaired? It was a Venom model about 6mo. old.

i've had 2 go bad on me both were dynamites total darkness nothing from the throttle i kind of gave up on failsafes for now but I'm told to go with the futaba one which is about 45.00 compared to 25.00

From someone who doesn't like nor use them...
