Hey all, The savage 4.6 RTR comes with wat? Like does it come with the crystals for the remote and all? So what do i really ned? The fuel bottle, 7.2 volt for the roto and fuel and fuel bottle? Also batteries for the reciever in the car can i use the double batteries i have at home? Cuz i saw in the manual it says use the hump battery pack is recomended......

The rechargeable hump pack will pay for itself with longer run time, and more power to the servos.
Everything else you listed is extra, and it comes with crystals in the Rx and Tx. You'll also need a glow igniter. I don't remember if it came with one, but I don't think so.

couldnt resist..lol. the rig comes with almost everything including crystles.
stock up on double AA for both the transmitter and receiver, youll probly get tired of replacing those 4 double a's in the reciever and get yourself a hump-pack, but youll be fine for now. I'm a cheap ass, so i go to the dollor store for those.. you will defanitly need some glow plugs for after break in. sometimes they last a while and sometimes only a couple of tanks.. also you will need a glow plug starter as well as a 7.2 volt stick pack for your roto start(sweet action!!)and a cheap quick charger, a temp gun, fuel filler, and some fuel.. i use 20% on the nitro.. remember what you break it in with is what you should always run with. can't tell you why, but every time i swich my motors get really ticked off..that should be it.. you may be able to get a nito starter back from your hobby shop or were ever your pick'in your rig up.. dont go crazy buyin crap till after you run it a little bit. then youll know what you really need..

the rig should come with everything you need except batteries, fuel, bottle, and igniter. the hump pack with make a big difference in the rig. you will need 1 or 2 7.2's for the roto, depending on which one you get. i would also advise a failsafe.

they make a "starter pack" that has a bottle, igniter, plug wrench, stopper, tuning screwdriver, and carrying rack for about 40$

then all you need is fuel, batts, and a fail safe.

love the starter pack beason!! dont need one but kinda want it!! ya mido, it comes with your first glow plug. but keap in mind that it wont last much longer then the break in.. fail safe is a good call.. it will stop any runaway action.. like if the double a's come out of the receiver pack or just die!! its a safety issue more then anything.. that should be on your wish list as well as a hump-pack and a temp gun..

you can pick up the rechargeable AA batts for not much more than regular ones, they have a much longer runtime and you don't have to buy the batts over and over, you just recharge them. I had plenty of them and 15 min charger for a while, but now I use hump packs. You can get an Ofna 1100 receiver pack with the charger for about 11 bucks, I think aound 15 shipped on ebay.
