what is the best way to stop my savage.

my book says not to pinch the fuel line becuase it makes the engine run lean. how should i stop my savage???:fro:

the only otherr way you could stop your motor is to put your finger over the exhaust tip, but this floods your motor. I have always pinched my fuel line and it hasn't hurt my motor at all

i have another question when they say fully closed on the high speed needle do they mean turn it counterclockwise all the way to the top or is it quite the oppasite???? i would really want to get my needle back at factory settings.

turn it clockwise to close it, but be careful not to turn it in too tight, you will ruin the needle seat. just turn it in till it feels snug

Clockwise=closed counterclockwise=open

I've always put my finger over the exhaust tip, since the engine isn't running wide open shouldn't be a big deal, plus it shut's down faster than pinching off the fuel line and thus loosing the prime, unless I comletely run it out of fuel my truck starts on the first bump of the roto start every time, I don't know if that has anything to do with it being only 2 weeks old or just in good tune, but I'm happy with it.

I have shut all my rc vehicles off by putting my finger over the stinger, it has never caused me any problems by doing this. IMO I would much rather have too much fuel and lubrication in my engine than not enough

I Plug my pipe with my shoe ( I have a metal pipe) or if my shoes are wont work i Pinch the fuel line. It only runs lean for a second so it wont hurt it. Ps I have a savage.

I have always stoped my nitro trucks with putting my finger over the pipe never done anyharm yet. I rember reading something back awile ago about stopeing the flywheel with your shoe but I dont think you could get a shoe were the savage flywheel is. Justput your finger (or shoe) over the pipe and if it floods ohh well its not that hard to fix.

I use a piece of wood doweling and touch the flywheel. This is the best way to avoid flooding by plugging the exhaust or the leaning out by pinching the fuel line.
