What exactly would i need to install this?

I have the 4910 t-maxx 2.5 and I've been thinkin about doing a engine swap. I've seen tons of posts about the picco engines. What about this one?

It says its a direct fit, if so can i use the same engine mounts as my 2.5? and will I be able to use the ez start system with it too?

While I'm not positive I believe you would need the extended chassis from a 3.3 to have it be a "drop in" motor. The original .15 and 2.5 versions dont have enough clearance around the rear shocktower to allow such a big motor to fit. That said IMO I would ditch the EZ start and go with the supplied pullstart. Less weight and more space to deal with on your rig.

It will also fit your 2.5 revo. I have the same rig and a 3.3 fits fine and so does the .26 jl red dot picco without having to have an extended chassis. You just can't drop a big block in its place. Also a dynamite .19T drops directly in and uses the ez start as well. I have that engine on my tmaxx and its a very good engine for only $109 off ebay.

You would need the Ofna engine mount to bolt it to the chassis.

Everything else is a direct swap; you would want a better tuned pipe if you’re still using the stock plastic pipe. Even the DC resonator pipe is not sufficient for the .26 to breath properly.
You will also have to upgrade the stock drive train within a very short time.
