I have a HPI RS4 3 SS and i was wondering what engine i should get. I have been look ing at a picco 15 but i just do know which engines are good and reliable and which ones aren't. Any help would be great:classic:

I have the same car,I installed the OS.15cvr-x.Great engine,plenty of power,easy to tune,reliable.:winnar:

I too use an OS .15 CV-R (nonpull). Great power and holds a tune very well. It's not too hard to tune and not to picky about ambient temp and humidity. Only have to retune for drastic changes in temp. Great mill, imho.

Does the OS .15 CV-R have a pull-start option. I don't have the money for both an engine and a starter box:(

Ya,the X in the .15cvr-x stands for the pull start model! The non pullstarts are just .15cvr.

I know people tend to bag on Picco's, but I have had great luck with them. Put a P.15 in my Maxx and it really worked good. Lasted a long time too. The OS CV-Hyper and CV-R are good ones too, I just seem to get a little more rpm with the Picco.
