I've been thinking about the picco 26 and the wasp 26 but i heard about the wasp having broken conrods or something and also what about the xtm 24.7 pro i have a rb 086 exhaust what engine would you suggest outta the three?
 
And another thing i wanna know is if the wasp 26 is more reliable than the picco 26? thanks
 
i have the XTM 24.7 engine and i love it. i would go with the 24.7, but that is me tho.

I believe if you look closer at the Wasp and Picco they are the exact same engine. They are made in Italy. Team Orion distributes the Wasp. So they changed the cooling head and the color. so really if i pick from the picco or wasp pick the one with the cooling head i like if thats the thing I'm gonna get the picco i think it would match with the savage better (Purple) :hehe:
 
What about a Hyper 8 port? What do u guys think is better... 8 port or 24.7??? :help:
 
alright well I've narrowed it down the wasp or picco if theres no difference I'm gettin the picco unless the wasp has something better the picco doesn't? thanks
 
I think it is more about the tuning than the break in, but the break in does help.

The Hyper 8-port is a strong engine.
 
ok i can get both engines for the same price any thoughts on which is better? if anyone knows which engine is easier to tune the wasp or picco it would be greatly appreciated i got some money and if i dont get one soon ill prolly spend it on something stupid :dumb:
 
Would the Wasp just "drop" right in?? Like if i were to buy it and the put all the stock stuff on it...would it work?? Also, would I need to buy HD center dogbones?
 
didnt like picco because of the way they have the one way bearing setup. and it cracks quite often.

i dont know anything about the mugen p5 ... never even heard of it actually
 
So what mods would i have to make with a picco 26 and/or a wasp 26 anything extra to do with the wasp? may possibly get the wasp havent seen any HELP WASP TUNING PROBLEMS unlike with the picco theres tons.. well any info will help thanks
