what dose a glow plug look like ?

i know you guys have them so what dose a good and a bad glow plug look like
i use mny ez start and dont get the light come on with my glow plug so i think i have to replace BUT

how do i know if thats broke or whatever and if its somthing else
i went and hit a pot hole and fliped 5-6 times

when driveing back to me (it landfed wheels down) i breaked and it stoped running then woudlent start no more
i checked to see if glow plug was lose and i see no other damage

so once again what dose a broke glow plug look like and is there any way to test them ( circuit tester ect....)

You can test your plug by using a glow plug igniter. Use a pair of needle nose plyers to hold onto the plug while you insert it into the plug end. Then watch it glow! Or not...

thanks rcaddict, fortunately i have never had to many problems with glowplugs so never had to ask anything.but since i am still not all that experienced i apreciate all the info on everything so i wont be a pain lol and eventually will be able to pass on the info to others.
