Can someone tell me what i all need for the sirio .23 and i also want to know if i use the same clutch and stuff off the trx 2.5r on the sirio or do i need all new stuff?

The clutch assembly on the 2.5 will work but I recommend changing out that and make sure you adjust your throttle linkage as the stock set up will prevent the carb from opening fully.

Can you give me a link on what cluth assembly i will need sry a little new at this.

If you have the stock 2.5 clutch assembly it will work for the sirio 23. I just recommend a set of aluminum clutch shoes.

Thanks any particular brand or know of ones that exactly will work on the sirio for aluminum clutch shoes ill use the stock one untill i get around to ordering one got college to pay for to. Also can you clear up a little what i need to do to the throttle link to make it work or would it be easier just to buy this and put it on?

dont use the new era kit , I used it with my sirio .23 and setting up the throttle linkage was a pain , try this motor mount http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJRU0&P=Z
it also comes with the header , i also have the sirio .23 and have had it running in my revo , the sirio .23 has some serious low to mid end power , it will suck up the wasp .26 from the line , if you have any more questions please ask

if you would like to see the sirio in action , copy and paste this link into internet explorer browser www.freez.neptune.com , this link doesn't work with some internet browsers ,I know for a fact it works with IE so just a little easier to copy and paste . goto my videos and and at the bottom of the list it has a vid named sirio revo 2nd vid . the vid isnt that great but you will see and here the power this engine has. when my wasp .26 dies I will definately be going back to the sirio .23

lol thanks freez the frog was pimp lol any hoo what pipewere you running on with the serio to me i saw it for a sec. and it looked like the hpi ripple pipe but not for sure and can you tell me will this mount you showed me is it gonna let the carb open all the way or do i have to do some tinkering to make it work?

ya you will have to tinker a little, meaning you may have to spin the carb a little and widen the throttle fork, but it will let you open it all the way , and yes it is the hpi ripple pipe , I would recomend not to use the stock pipe ,they say you can, but it robs the engine big time of all its power. I am not saying you need to use the HPI pipe , I use it and love it , there are other pipes out there , just make sure it is for at least a .21 engine

hmmm throttle fork is that the metal wire piece running from the servo that intially opens the carb?

nope it is the plastic fork that connects to the throttle ball
it is circled in red here

you would just bevel the edges a little with an exacto knife

the red arrow shows the screw, loosen it and turn the carb a little one way or the other until the throttle arm and the throttle slide move freely and there is no binding

sorry man , can't help ya on that one , I have seen vid on this engine but really can't give any info on it , I can say that after running the sirio .23 and the wasp .26 I wasn't impressed , but thats just my opinion ,I am sure it is a great engine

cool youve been a big help all i have to wait for is tax reutrns so i can order it i do have one more question though what brand and % fuel do you run in your revo?

hey i hear odonell makes some nice fuel you know whats even better its what i pay for praxxas fuel to hmmm might have to switch to that now when i break in the trinity since i dont see 15% nitro in odonell should i just break it in with 10% and move up to 20% after break in?

can you give me alyout how to break this motor in freez casue with the trx they made it child proof there no way you could mess up now when it comes to a racing motor i dont know if there are special steps i need to take or what
